- Cover design of the book!
Here it is! I’ve been working away at this for a while and this is the finished product. I’ve put together this design book, Henna from the Arabian Peninsula, that includes henna patterns from Oman, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. I’m really excited about how it turned out.
Each page has a henna design along the the location where the design is from in English and in Arabic. I did the Arabic names in Naskh style calligraphy…There are 29 design pages. Some pages have single hand designs, some have matched hands, contrasting hands, foot designs, etc. There’s a lot going on! Here is a sample design, from Dubai:
